Hi Scott, I'm back. Do you have a GREAT traditional recipe for a Pound cake? Like granny used to make? Tender, not too dense, slightly crunchy crust?

Both of my grandmothers are from Louisiana. I really suggest giving this recipes a try... for a generous portion I would double the custard part of the recipe and leave the bananas and wafers the same as stated in the video.Good luck!! Scott

Ok, where was your grandmother from? I am trying to make a BP just as close to what my Southern Grandmother made. She was from Alabama. So far yours looks the closest. BTW, thanks for taking the time to put this out here!

Well, growing up I learned a lot by watching my grandmothers cook and asking a lot of questions. When I decided to go into food professionally I went to Culinary School.
