When Fox Entertainment Correspondent Jill Dobson joined Fox and Friends Saturday On Novemer 29 to review Sean Penn's performance in the new movie "Milk," something seemed to be missing in her description of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man elected to political office in the United States. The photo and audio of Harvey Milk I use in my video are excerpted from a slide show and longer audio clip available from links on the NPR webpage at http://www.npr.org/templates/s... image of the poster used to promote the 1950 movie "The Jackie Robinson Story" is available on the National Archive website at http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/co... finally, for DOZENS AND DOZENS of more examples of Fox News bias, see my Fox News bias playlist on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/view_pl...

hm was a low-level carpetbaggin' politician in a fag friendly district whose last words were "somebody musta farted cause I'm feeling so horny. The aroma brings out the girly in me. Quick; somebody fertilize the turd up my butt."

Yes Fox news does fail to mention that crucial detail but I also read somewhere that it was some type of marketing plan to NOT emphasize it being a "gay movie" so that people could go watch the movie with an open mind. Anyway, regardless of your beliefs or dislikes, this movie has an AMAZING cast and a truly great message about hope.. so go watch it! :)

you're completely off base. no one is saying that identifying someone as gay is being a homophobe, it's when negativity, and words like faggot or homo follow it, that it becomes homophobic.
PIRTEKM3 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Oh, by the way I watched the movie and it was a good film.
PIRTEKM3 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
OK, let me get this straight. If you bring up one's sexual orientation, you're a homophobe. If you don't bring up one's sexual orientation you're a homophobe. So what the fuck is it? How do you want it to be. I really don't care the least about a persons orientation. Honestly, I don't. I just get so tired of the continual whining that goes along with it. I'm so tired of walking on eggshells in fear of hurting one's feelings. We were not meant to live like this.

I think you're reading too deeply into a 2 minute fluff piece on daytime television. They don't really describe any of the movies that they talk about on these things.
