If you want to do chemical engineering (or any other kind of engineering) at Stanford, then I strongly suggest you think about whether or not you REALLY want to do engineering. I can't stress this enough. I go to Georgia Tech University where the engineering school is almost or just as good as that of Stanford's, so I should tell you that lot of people fail out because they realized that engineering wasn't their "thing."
